MIS SOLD PPI ON A LOAN – REFUNDED £10,555

 

 

Mr S from Portsmouth took out a loan for £66,000 to do some home improvements. Despite his loan company having ceased trading, we obtained a full refund of the PPI premium he paid, plus the interest charged and further interest at 8%, which totalled £10,555.

 

 


 

 MIS-SOLD PPI ON PERSONAL LOAN – £7,918.00 REFUND

 

Mr T, from Essex received a refund of £7,918.00 – from an incorrectly sold Payment Protection Insurance policy on a loan. Mr T received a small rebate on the PPI premiums paid when his loan was settled early, more than 4 years ago. Despite already having had a rebate Mr T still received a payment of £7,918 after Claim 2 Gain complained about the sale of the policy.

 

 


 

MIS-SOLD PPI ON HIRE PURCHASE AGREEMENT – £13,015.00 REFUND

 

Mr L, from East Lothian (UK) received a refund of £13,015.00 from an incorrectly sold Payment Protection Insurance policy on a Hire Purchase agreement. Mr L took out his loan for £20,000.00, of which £7,000.00 was the premium for the PPI. After Claim 2 Gain’s complaint Mr L was awarded a full refund of the premiums paid, plus interest charged and further interest at 8% per year and received a total refund of £13,015.00

 

 


 

MIS-SOLD PPI ON LOAN TO CONSOLIDATE DEBTS – £9,300.00 REFUND

 

Mr W, from Cheshire (UK) received a refund of £9,300.00 from an incorrectly sold Payment Protection Insurance policy on a loan. Mr W originally borrowed £32,300.00 to consolidate his existing debts. The PPI on this loan was £6,300.00, on which he had to pay interest. After Claim 2 Gains initial complaint the loan company offered a refund of £3,002.00 which they said was in-line with the terms and conditions of the loan. Claim 2 Gain didn’t agree with this and after further arguments Mr W received a cheque for £9,300.00

 

 

 


 

MIS-SOLD PPI ON LOAN TO CONSOLIDATE DEBTS – £6,254.00 REFUND

 

Mr H, from Cleveland (UK) received a refund of £6,254.00 from an incorrectly sold Payment Protection Insurance policy on a loan. Mr H borrowed £54,300.00 to consolidate some debts, of the amount borrowed £4,870.00 was paying for the PPI policy. The initial complaint was rejected by the loan company because the loan had been repaid over 2 years ago. Following our arguments Mr H received a cheque for £6,254.00

 


 

MIS-SOLD PPI ON CREDIT CARD – £4,052.00 REFUND

 

Mr H, from Dundee (UK) received a refund of £4,052.00 from an incorrectly sold Payment Protection Insurance policy on a credit card. After making a claim for the refund of the PPI premiums on Mr H’s credit card Claim 2 Gain achieved a refund of all the premiums paid, plus the interest totalling £4,052.00

 

 


 

MIS-SOLD PPI ON CREDIT CARD – £6,001.00 REFUND

 

Mrs H, from Wrexham (UK) received a refund of £6,001.00 from an incorrectly sold Payment Protection Insurance policy on a credit card. Claim 2 Gain’s complaint about the mis-selling of Mrs H’s PPI policy on her credit card was initially rejected by the credit card company. Following further arguments Mrs H received a payment of a full refund of the premiums she had paid, going back over 10 years, plus interest, totalling £6,001.00
